Jason Hawkins Bio
Currently entering his 5th season with the Brockville Braves of the Central Canada Tier 1 Junior A Hockey League named GM/Head Coach on April 26, 2011 .
Hawkins has been a coach for more than 15 years.
Jason has been part of two Junior A championship teams one as director of player personnel and one as Assistant GM/Assistant Coach as well as a junior B championship as Head Coach and GM, Jason has also evaluated two Team Canada East Regional Camps in the past two years.
Jason Hawkins has been a winning player and coach all of his life.
In addition to his extensive coaching career, Jason played 5 years of Junior A hockey attended two pro training camps as well as a player coach in Major League Senior AAA Hockey.
From OHL, College players to kids in their first years of competitive hockey, Jason has extensive experience of coaching at all levels.
Throughout his career Jason's been known as an advanced coach, leader and master communicator and motivator.
Over the past 4 seasons working with Todd Gill 19 year NHL vet current Brockville Braves Owner, has allowed Jason to further his coaching and management skills as to be promoted to Head Coach/GM of the Brockville Braves for the 2011-2012 season.
“It will be our goal to win the CCHL Championship every season. But our mission will be to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with all fans, staff, players, players’ families, billet families, corporate partners, volunteers, and charitable organizations.
These relationships are what will make Brockville and the Braves a “destination” franchise for prospective players.”
Jason has settled in Brockville with his spouse Jennifer and children Brittany, Cooper and Harker and has now dedicated himself to the continued success of the Brockville Braves.
Hawkins mandate is to continue developing student athletes for the next step combing hockey with education, and to WIN for Brockville.

Adam Gibson Bio
Adam joins the Brockville Braves staff after returning home from coaching in Michigan. Adam was an A.P. at the age of 15 for the Braves where he later that season signed a player’s card and finished the regular season and playoffs with the Braves. Adam a defenseman, was drafted 25th overall into the OHL where he enjoyed a 4 year career with North Bay Centennials and Saginaw Spirit. During his time in the OHL Adam represented Canada on two occasions, once in the World Under -17 Championships in Truro and New Glasgow Nova Scotia where he and his teammates won bronze. The following summer Adam played for the Under -18 Team Canada squad who played in the Czech Republic at the Six Nations Cup where they captured the Gold Medal. Adam finished his OHL career a year early to pursue his education with a scholarship to the University Of British Columbia, after sustaining a couple of serious injuries during his rookie season at the school Adam decided to walk away from playing the game. Adam was raised in nearby Prescott, and came up through the South Grenville Minor Hockey Association, later graduating to the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings. Adam will be able to bring a different insight into the game coaching the defense. At the age of 27 he will be able to use his personal experiences along with Matt Ward to help out the Braves players not only on the ice but off the ice too.

Matt Ward Bio
Named Assistant Coach for the 2011-2012 season, Matt previously served as a video coach during the second half of the 2010-2011 season.
Matt is a Braves alumni, having played for Brockville in 2003 through to 2006. In his final season he was named team MVP, and lead the team in scoring. Matt was also able to represent the team in the League's All Star Game, having been named to the League's 2nd All Star Team.
Matt followed up his junior career by attending Neumann University in Aston, PA playing in the NCAA division 3. While there he was named Rookie of the Year in ECAC West (2006), and was part of National Championship winning team (2009). Matt was also individually named to the Frozen Four All Star Tournament Team, 2nd Team All Conference and received an All American Honourable Mention in 2009. During his final two seasons with Neumann (2008-2010), Matt lead his team in scoring, and was again named to the 2nd Team All Conference in his senior season.
After his college career Matt took advantage of a professional playing opportunity with the Reading Royals of the ECHL. With his degree completed Matt was fortunate to have also played in the CHL and the SPHL before retuning home and pursuing coaching opportunities with the Braves.
