- The Brockville Braves will be hosting our annual July Selection Camp – July 16-18, 2010.
- The Braves are looking for top talent to replace key players and fill out the roster as they attempt to defend their 2010 CHL Regular Season and 2010 Fred Page
Cup
Titles.
- All activities will be at the North Grenville Municipal
Centre in Kemptville.
- The camp will be for all players with aspirations of playing JR "A" hockey with the Braves this season.
- The camp will be conducted by Braves scouting and coaching staff.
- The camp will be run "Tournament" style
- All registered players will be placed on to 4 teams.
- Each team will have a 1 hour practice on Friday night and 2 games Saturday and Sunday
- Each player will have an exit interview with the coaching staff following their last on-ice session on Sunday
- Maximum of 10 forwards, 6 defencemen and 2 goalies per team
- All applicants will be notified of their status at least 2 weeks prior to the camp
- Application DEADLINE is Monday July 5th, your application will only be considered complete when all paperwork and money is submitted. Cost is $125 ($75 for current Braves players) with cheques made payable to “Brockville Braves Booster Club”

- ***all Canadian, non-ODHA players must include the ODHA Jr Tryout Permission form when submitting their paperwork and payment
- ***all U.S. born players must include the USA Hockey/ Hockey Canada Tryout Permission Form with payment
- The Braves are graduating several players this year to the NCAA and will be looking to replace them with players possessing strong skills and character.
This camp will include all the Braves rostered players and some other players recruited over the past season. Only 68 players attend the July session, essentially considered our training camp. Only 25-28 are invited back at the end of August.
