 
- Brockville will be hosting a Pre-Draft Prospects
Camp on May 2-4, 2008.
- All activities will be at the Brockville Youth
Arena.
- The camp will be for all players with aspirations
of playing JR "A" hockey.
- Excellent exposure prior to the CJHL and other
leagues' drafts.
- The camp will be conducted by CJHL scouting and
coaching staff.
- The camp will be run "Tournament" style
.
- All registered players will be drafted on to 6
teams.
- Each team is guaranteed 6 games (One game Friday
night, three on Saturday and two on Sunday).
- Maximum of 3 lines, 6 defencemen and 2 goalies per
team
- Top teams will receive prizes.
- Format is based on full registration - expectations
are that it will fill quickly, last year there were
over 170 applicants for 102 spots.
- All applicants will be notified of their status
at least 2 weeks prior to the camp
- Application DEADLINE
is Monday April 14th,
Your application will only be considered complete
when all paperwork and money is submitted.
- The Braves are graduating several players this
year to the NCAA and will be looking to replace them
with players possessing strong skills and strong character.
This camp is not for any players currently on the Braves
roster. Last year there were 34 players from this spring
camp that were invited back to a main evaluation camp
in July. This July camp included all the Braves rostered
players and some other players that were recruited over
the spring and summer. Only 68 players attended the July
camp, so half of the main evaluation camp was made up
of players that participated in our spring camp. There
are a lot of players that participated in last year's
spring camp that made the rosters of other CJHL teams
and teams in the EOJBHL.
